Virgilio Valobra, inspired by the marseillais soap manufacturers and their technique, established his soap factory in 1903 in Genoa, Italy. Using pure ingredients and the traditional method of “ boiling to the strength” VALOBRA’s soaps hit the market and they never went out-of-date. Today, the factory still exists and their production is still staying true to its origins. Their vitamin-enriched, chemical-free products cary moisturising and protective ingredients to the skin, offering that way an alternative solution to today’s soap market.
Application and storage:
Valobra soaps should be stored in a dry place if not used immediately.
Recommended is the storage in a drawer together with the laundry.
The Valobra soaps have a thin tissue paper that allows the soap to breathe freely.
This is useful because it allows the soap to deliver its perfume to the laundry without it having to be smashed.
Due to their quality and delicacy, they can be used on the face and body, even the most delicate parts of the epidermis.
To avoid unpleasant (but not detrimental) cracks in the soap after use, it is advisable to place it on the sink or in the bathroom so that the lower part of the soap is also dry.
The tendency to develop longitudinal slits if not properly stored and left wet with the base is due to the quality of the Valobra soap base paste. In fact, the extreme sweetness on the sensitive skin is linked to the perfect washing capacity, by the soap’s solidity and for exactly this reason its counterpart guaranteed it more sensitive to stress caused by its softening when kept moist. In fact, after a subsequent drying of this wet surface, the phenomenon of cracks may occur. However, this strength at the same time ensures that no amount of soap is lost despite the softening of the soap.
